1 | I thought it would be useful to start a thread that we can keep adding website links to, so it can be a resource. Please add your own favourites! NZ Historical births, deaths, marriages: https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/home/ NZ Archives: http://www.archway.archives.govt.nz/ PapersPast (Old NZ newspapers) http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast Worldwide records and indexes, including NZ shipping and some NZ probate files New Zealand Society of Genealogists (NZSG) – this group produces a range of CD-Roms and other resources available for purchase. Branches are located around the country and can often help with research in a specific location. There are also member only resources available for use. Google – yes google! It is always worth searching on a name, enclosed in speech marks, to see just what comes up. Sometimes there are already family trees available on the web that will give you a head start.
