i notice when a try to block an email addy, the email still comes through but goes to spam, and i delete same thing, how do i do it so the email just dosnt hit into any of my boxes please, eg mary coot try block sos i get no more emails, and they end up in spam box, i dont want them in my boxes at all just gone good bye

It depends what email client you are using. I use eMClient and can set filters to do that. I have a dozen filters to process emails as they come in. Filters are usually available to setup in most email clients, but they will all be different. I would try doing a search for your email client name and Filters to find instructions for your specific setup.
The filters are usually steps, eg If email is from xxxxx then move to spam folder, or delete etc. Or, If email header contains xxxxx, Then mark as read, move to archive1 etc etc.

If simply using gmail webmail, you can change your settings here.

Create a filter and tick the boxes for Never send to spam, and Delete it.

thanks i found a labels thing and clicked delete so hopefully wont get emails from them, may use the filters for other things,
