| My printer was recently "Offline" In the past when this has happened, I've been able to sort the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling it. dbab - 2021-10-08 15:20:00 |
| Are you using a windows computer ? Connected by wifi ? And the printer is usually wirelessly connected also ? It's more likely just a network error and you shouldn't need to reinstall it when that happens at all. You need to ascertain what network you're on then set up a fixed IP addy in the printer. Just confirm for me Edited by nice_lady at 3:43 pm, Fri 8 Oct nice_lady - 2021-10-08 15:43:00 |
| Yes, Windows Wifi Thanks dbab - 2021-10-08 15:49:00 |
| so ok firstly you need to ascertain what wifi Ip address range the computer is on. So to here: do number 1 & 2 on the page and report back with the address It'll be something like this: 192.168.1.71 etc Edited by nice_lady at 4:07 pm, Fri 8 Oct nice_lady - 2021-10-08 16:05:00 |

Yeah should be simple enough. There's really no need to be uninstalling/reinstalling the printer each time it loses the connection. Once the connection is setup sorting out a fixed IP might be handy. nice_lady - 2021-10-08 16:53:00 |
