Laptop wise people people - which should I buy?

#Post

Or is there something else I should be looking at? Under $2000. I'm not gaming, just doing boring work stuff. I really appreciate any help.

Thanks pcle. This has great specs at seemingly a great price. I've never owned a Dell. They're okay eh?

Yes. I think you can get a better specced laptop directly from an actual manufacturer rather than a retailer. Look for the Dell sales.

Dell used to have actual real people that would come around and fix the Dell stuff.
I don't know if they still do.

I ended up being talked into buying this one. Told as good as the Dell one? Can you let me know if it's really not, he assured me I could return it if not.

They're pretty similar and for the usage you state it'll do that easily.

This is a phone problem I hope some one can help me with.
I have a Motorola - Nexus 6 phone, which is relatively new. Upgrade from previous Motorola. On my other phone I could change the length of time before my phone turned off if it was idol. This one I can't do that, it turns off constantly and can find no way to stop it doing this. Its bit annoying as I have to swipe it and find page or app I was on. Any thoughts ?

You should really start your own topic for your own issues. I am curious as to how you have a relatively new Nexus 6 though, they were discontinued in 2015 or 2016.

My bad, I see now you have your own thread. Carry on.

lenovo is OK, that is a bit expensive, especially with only a 14: screen.
