I don't know. There was nothing untoward last time I looked.

I wondered too. Strange - it was relevant to real estate.

Was that the one about the toyboy?

Yes.

I'm tired around here of putting effort in, taking the time to share thoughts when someone has a problem, links, all to have it taken away by the strike of a key with a heavy handed Trademe moderator.
Just get rid of the offending post. See why others have gone elsewhere where they are treated with respect.

High time Trademe just killed these message boards once and for all
as it appears to be their long term aim anyway.

Sorry, did someone say "toyboy"?

Yup, it all looked OK to me too last I looked ... might not have been exactly what the OP wanted to hear, but was full of good advice.
Can't see Trade Me deleting it without someone complaining. ????

And yup SQ - there was a toyboy, he was 54 ;)

Yes it was relevant to real estate (didn't get to see the postings on the second page before it disappeared) until someone insinuated the OP was more interested in her own situation than her concern for her mother. I mean seriously who wouldn't be genuinely concerned about their 84 year old mother being taken advantage of by a 54 year old.

I don't actually care, Mals. But remember that it's TM's board and they can pretty much do what they want with it. If you don't like it, nztissues is over there --->

First you call me an "enrolled nurse" and now.... Luke? You have real issues mate.... there's a board for that, as above. Move along sunshine, go play somewhere else.

Well props Guyz for having balance in your viewpoint.

I did note they didn't seem to be grateful for the
time given by some posters, speaks volume.
Maybe you're on to something.

Does your mother/father know that you are posting on her/their account?

Oh dear and thank goodness Mum or Dad is back and now we have sensible posts.

Funny I didn't see in 'insinuation', everything I saw (and wrote) was black and white, and whilst probably not want the OP wanted to hear was totally valid.

There was also absolutely nothing to say the 84 year old was being taken 'advantage of' by a 54 year old ... was there enough to raise some concerns from the one side and viewpoint of the story we heard, absolutely.

Oh well, guess we'll never know. I do hope the 'Mum' gets to the lawyer without any other 'interested parties', gets their own advice and is able to document their wishes.
