10 | Back in the early 80s, I was 14, doing paper runs and saving up to buy a motorbike when I turned 15. Had the money in my bank account and my uncle's XL125 lined up. Was also into Space Invaders & other arcade games so when I first saw a Sinclair ZX Spectrum in real life, I knew it had to be mine. Real sliding doors moment. I brought the computer, ended up being the first one in my large extended blue collar family to go to university and got a degree in Com Sci and a career in IT that has allowed me a good life. I always wonder how different my life would have been of I had brought the motorbike instead? gblack - 2021-09-21 07:15:00 |

13 | I remember my son's ZX81 wouldn't load and had to take into Takapuna Mall techy circa 1984. Cost $140 to repair back then, a fortune. bryshaw - 2021-09-23 13:24:00 |

16 | Sinclair Vehicles went into receivership. Concept may have been good but the reality wasn't. amasser - 2021-09-27 12:31:00 |
