Go into settings it'll be in there.
It's probably telling you the TV is not connected to your internet wifi or wired network ?

Have you connected it ?

Did you connect the TV ?
It'll either have an Ethernet cable running to your modem/router OR it'll be connected thru your Wifi.

When you are sure you're connected and it doesn't allow you to use the internet functions then the troubleshooting starts.

Is it connected by cable to the modem/router or by wifi ?

I'm guessing it's wifi and the 'tech' hasn't bothered to set a fixed IP address on the Tv so that if you restart your modem/router it'll quite possibly lose the connection.

Not to put to fine a point on it but have you followed the instructions that came with your TV set. Also in the cost of the TV set you will have paid for some support so ring them and ask for some help.

The set was set up by an Expert" from the company I purchased it from and the only instructions i needed to follow were the on/off functions which i Have followed and the set works perfectly apart from NOT connecting to the preset apps viz You Tube etc..

Thanks all.Turns out the buttons i was pressing were labelled but were only for decoration or?? so all sorted..Unlike the "old" owner manuals they are fairly sparse compared to our previous 46in Plasma.!! It was connected to the WiFi..

Yes, the manuals are pretty sparse and only basic details.
You have to go into your settings and scroll down and each line has a piece on right hand side what it is for. The part where you go to see is in the 'Help ' and click on ,it brings up all what would of been in booklet form.
As a matter of interest I clicked on the Apps button on Remote and was wanting You Tube. Message came up and said Update of software required before it would open up, took a couple of minutes.
This is the second time in 3 yrs for updates. (Panasonic THFX800Z)
Cheers........
