Ex and parental locks on kids tablet

1 | A friend's recent ex has placed parental locks on kids messenger on his kid's i pads so that they cannot use them when with their Mum. Now he's gone one step further and unlocked his daughter's while still blocking his son. He contacts the daughter at least 5 times a day and totally ignores his son, won't speak to him etc. The guy is in his late 40s his son is barely 10. Mum is not too computer savvy.. Does anyone know how to fix this without a factory reset as her son doesn't want to lose the money he has on the games that he got for Christmas Any help would be great red45 - 2021-08-26 19:25:00 |
2 | from a cursory look it would seem the kids account is managed by a parents account. So if the Ex is the parents account it would seem that Mum and Ex need to talk - perhaps get Mums facebook account added as a parent account also. Details are here about it I cannot see anything in there though about what to do if the parent is behaving like a child... king1 - 2021-08-26 22:29:00 |

My heart goes out to her and her boy. They are better off without the prick obviously. Any credit for games etc I would think would be held at the app store rather than on the iPad itself and so should be unaffected by a reset. That could be checked. ronaldo8 - 2021-08-26 23:20:00 |
4 | Yeah well my ex wouldn't put a password on the pc of her new partner, saying it wasn't hers. As a result my daughter hooked up with a foreigner and ran away from school. She's now a solo mum. Shot my ex. Oh but the father has his permanent residence now. bit - 2021-08-31 15:02:00 |
