I have an oppo phone. I don't use Netflix tho. But there by should be no difference between the Samsung and the oppo because the app will be from the Google play store it will be the same app on either phone type. Are you sure you're on the same wifi connection at the Chromecast?

This thankyou is a bit late, just to let you know I had to get a tech in, the problem was I had changed broadband suppliers however I had not programmed the new router if that makes sense, all is working fine now.

Ah ????. Had you mentioned the change of BB Supplier we'd have asked if you had a new modem/router and when you said yes that would have been enough info for us to have saved you the cost of a tech visit as we could easily have told you how to sort out your connections. It's fairly easy.

Ps: thanks for returning to your thread - a lot simply don't bother - until they have another issue.

And you changed ISP just to save $5/month.

Also typically totally unnecessary to change the toy router unless you have a VoIP service provisioned by ISP.

Assuming they didn't change from ADSL to Fibre or Vdsl or ?

Your ordinary citizen doesn't know this stuff and even if a router change happened many/most will not even think about the password/SSID changes required on their wifi devices.

We actually have saved $60.00 a month for our change and are getting the same as we did before so we are very happy.
