| “While the physical aspect of real estate is not possible in level 4, many agents have well-tested practices in place that enable them to deliver remote appraisals, or listings, electronic sales and purchase agreements, and online or phone auctions.” sparkychap - 2021-08-24 09:17:00 |
| From a lending perspective there is nothing to stop applications being processed and settlements occurring, especially for refinancing. jeffqv - 2021-08-24 10:05:00 |
| Personally I'm really, really happy for any industry that is able to work (safely) through a lockdown. So many people aren't. desi1969 - 2021-08-24 10:10:00 |
| Yes good on them working, someone has to keep the lights on. msigg - 2021-08-24 10:29:00 |
| They are doing what the customers want them to do - list and arrange selling of houses. There is obviously a lot of interest at the moment, so it is just as well the public's needs can be met by the RE companies working within the law during lockdown. kitty179 - 2021-08-24 10:44:00 |
| More likely people are bored and want a bigger house to get away from the Mrs. mrcat1 - 2021-08-24 11:15:00 |

| We are dealing with massive enquiries and have listed, advertised, contracted, and confirmed within our business this last week. Have 2 settlements this week. 1 is delayed, the other looks to be going ahead. 3 pre settlement inspections are due this next 7 days that may lead to delayed settlements next week. I was just surprised to learn the star of Speed & Miss Congienielity was in Real Estate. I know there are a lot of people who have moved into the industry in the last 12 months, but that one surprised me. (I read the article) paysanne - 2021-08-24 15:00:00 |
| I sat outside the supermarket for entertainment. Now I will start phoning agents for someone to chat to. I should probably throw in something about a property during the conversation or they might lose interest in chatting to me. ash4561 - 2021-08-24 22:19:00 |
