Bios update, preparing to repair loop

What a great time for it to happen, I have 2 kids that need to access online learning and my Lenovo ideapad c340 bios was updated and now it's in that damn preparing to repair loop, any help will be appreciated, I'm over this damn laptop and it crapping out.

Well that's a great time to update the BIOS, were there new features you wanted?

That sounds like Windows rather than BIOS, I've never seen BIOS prepairing to repair, it either works or you've bricked it.

BIOS does not update unless you do so. More likely the O/S.
You have only one PC? Get another, if there's 2 kids as well....doesn't have to be new.
