Help making lint bags please

| 1 | This is a "fruity" vege bag from the supermarket. I'm thinking of converting them into lint bags for the washing machine because I can't find any good quality lint bags with small enough holes in the mesh and zips that last more than a few washes. Not sure what sort of closure is best but the commercial ones have a zip in them. I'd actually prefer to buy good quality lint bags rather than make them but haven't been able to find any. I don't even know what the correct name for these bags is -all I know is that when I put things like black socks in the washing together with things like white towels then the socks come out covered with lint. There are mesh bags you can buy to put the black socks in but the cheapo bags come apart after a couple of washes and I can't find any high quality bags so far. | 8 | There are some tight mesh lingerie bags I've seen and bought from the supermarket. | 16 | I never wash clothes with towels so no problem with lint - my lingerie bags from Bendon are at least 10 years old and still going strong. The mesh has bigger holes than OPs fruit bag though so the water can pass through and still wash what’s inside.
