Uber Issues?

charged $51 for a $15 trip...
but unable to find a way to sort this out..

while there is an appearance of support on the app and the website - they are circular and just led to back to the page saying I agreed to price in the beginning so they stand by it.

have been around the mulberry-bush of the app and website
of course - no contact phone numbers or help desk.

I finally made contact via their FB - explained the problem - they then
took another $51. from my account and credited me with $36
Great, I thought...
But alas, they then took the seond $51 ...

they are so hard to communicate with too!

I've had a week of help desks wasting my time - the only one that was any good was Andy from trademe! Well done tradme.

any suggestions? can anyone help?

Phone your bank and get them to dishonour both transactions if you can. I think they do for credit card payments within a certain timeframe. Worth a try.
