| Hello dear friends, did you miss me? omaria - 2021-07-22 12:00:00 |
| You can google it. aoc1 - 2021-07-22 12:04:00 |
| Is this a new printer ? One you didn't previously have installed ? If it's new you'll find generally very easy to follow instructions in the box. Or have you already tried to install it and got stuck ? nice_lady - 2021-07-22 12:22:00 |

I have a feeling the OP knows this but possibly also knows how many annoyingly irrelevant results one might get and that it can be a very long goose chase indeed. nice_lady - 2021-07-22 12:23:00 |

| You are wanting to use the printer wirelessly? If you plug it in via USB it might set itself up. tygertung - 2021-07-22 15:24:00 |
| If you previously used it with the laptop then it shouldn't be difficult. Do you have the same modem/router as before you moved or not? nice_lady - 2021-07-22 15:39:00 |
| Has the OP actually plugged the printer in and...tried to print? If it was working, got packed up and then unpacked.. it should just work. Only thing that might trip it up is the wifi SSID changing.. but then OP works have to have set up everything again anyway gblack - 2021-07-22 22:12:00 |
| My son is coming tomorrow, so hopefully he can help. omaria - 2021-07-22 23:45:00 |

Ok so have you tried plugging the printer in to the power and seeing if you can print ? If no, what exactly have you tried please ? Edited by nice_lady at 3:54 pm, Fri 23 Jul nice_lady - 2021-07-23 15:53:00 |
| Yes plugged it in and it is working. The packers had packed the cable underneath the lid. Trust me to think it would be complicated. omaria - 2021-07-23 16:30:00 |
| Ok. ???? nice_lady - 2021-07-23 17:43:00 |

Its also good to know there are helpful people around who are very willing to help an old(er) woman who knows very little about technology :) omaria - 2021-07-23 23:11:00 |
| So you mean the power cable was hidden under he lid??, or are you referring to the USB cable???, or even a cat5/6 patch lead???? Edited by spyware at 9:28 am, Sat 24 Jul spyware - 2021-07-24 09:26:00 |
| Yeah omaria - I'm also curious. What kind of cable? nice_lady - 2021-07-24 10:17:00 |
| The cable that was needed to connect it or plug it in. I thought it would need a lot of figures and codes to get it going but its working just with that cord/plug thing. Never to old to learn LOL omaria - 2021-07-24 13:16:00 |
| Was it a power cable? nice_lady - 2021-07-24 13:19:00 |
| no plug from computer to printer so I guess it was a power cable, very short one, needed to put it on extention. My computer is in dining room for now and printer in guest room, yet i can print. Amazes me how that works. I push a button here and the things starts whirring in another room. Edited by omaria at 2:19 pm, Sat 24 Jul omaria - 2021-07-24 14:18:00 |
| Glad you got it sorted. All electrical machines need power from somewhere. nice_lady - 2021-07-24 15:40:00 |
