unwanted adverts

#Post

I have unsubscribed time and time again from unwanted adverts such as UPS, (now I can't think of all of them) there are about 20 a day, every day.
As stated, I have unsubscribed but they take no notice, I'm getting a bit cheesed off
Any suggestions of how to get rid of them permanently

I had the same problem ,they are just using a supplied email address of suckers, last time it happened I changed my email address. Trying to unsubscribe just tells them your a live sucker for more emails

I don't get such rubbish. Must be a pain in the neck. I use gmail and the app does sort out emails into primary, promotions and updates besides the usual spam folder. Sometimes it makes a mistake but after correcting it, the app knows how to treat 'that' sender. I've also unsubbed many and the stay unsubbed.
I check the promotions tab and the spam folder once a week but primary and updates I do daily.

Do NOT ever clik on ANY links in such mail, and especially do NOT 'unsubscribe' from such. You never subscribed in the first place right ? So clicking the unsubscribe link simply tells them you are indeed a real/live email addy and they will send you more, much more, junk mail. Bad idea. Simply delete them and carry on.

Are you talking about email messages, or notifications on the desktop?

Go into the webserver for your email, mark as spam.
They are then gone. Well, if you use a good email provider that is....with gmail it works wonders.

How do you normally get your mail ?

WWW.GMAIL.COM and sign in if you have to with your google username/password.

In the Gmail mail box one of the icons above the mail list is the 'spam' one. Just highlight any mail(s) and then clik that one.

However, did you take note of the posts that said DO NOT 'unsubscribe'.....you&-
#39;ve almost certainly been to some extent the author of your own misfortune there in bringing even more spam to your mailbox.
