why wont the thinkcenter allow a wifi extender

| 1 | It is old and it has Windows 10. But not knowing much about this, I think this has something to do with the bios settings and the likely hood the Thinkcenter was used in an Enterprise environment. I have checked what some of the settings are and have disabled some but it still wont let a wifi extender connect to it. And that is the nearest I can get to solving this. The same wifi Extender works fine with my Windows 10 Pro 64bit PC but not the Windows 10 Pro 64bit PC I sold my brother. Even my brothers attempts to use wifi extenders with the Thinkcenter fail.
