| I am knitting a cable cardigan which has lace holes in a V shape up each front but after I have followed the pattern exactly there are no dam holes, I am sure that I should be passing wool over the needle to create the hole and then knitting 2 tog.. jude164 - 2021-07-05 15:38:00 |
| That just gives instructions for doing a cable - no lacy holes. I agree with you to get holes usually it is yo, k2tog. jayemtoo - 2021-07-05 16:13:00 |
| I have found that sometimes patterns with mistakes are online. Could you google your pattern number and see what happens. Or else they could have the wrong photo with it. Edited by yapper at 5:04 pm, Mon 5 Jul yapper - 2021-07-05 17:04:00 |
| Hi Yapper I have done that and looking over at least 50 pattern corrections in Raverley this one isn't showing YET, I have contacted them but still waiting on the correction, shame I cant put the pic up and the full cable pattern, jude164 - 2021-07-05 18:26:00 |
| Are the holes in a different pattern? I’ve often found instructions like “work these 16 rows to form cable pattern while also working these 6 rows to form lace pattern” or something similar sarahb5 - 2021-07-05 19:39:00 |
| I will wait for raverley or try and find a similar pattern, dam frustrating to say the least jude164 - 2021-07-05 19:51:00 |
| Do you still have the correct number of stitches on the rows. If so, then the pattern obviously doesn't match the picture. If you dont, then the pattern is wrong. But if you do but still want lacy holes, somewhere before and after the cable where you are K9, change that to K7, m1, K2tog on one side and Sl1, k1, psso, k8, on the other voyager4 - 2021-07-07 14:00:00 |
