iPad keyboard

This strange thing has happened to the keyboard on my iPad.
It has split into two Halves and the predictive text has disappeared
Any suggestions???
I’m getting used to it after the whole weekend of it , but it would be more normal to have it back the way it should be. TIA

Hold down the keyboard icon on the bottom right when the keyboard is open and it will give you options to merge or something like that.
