So who has tried this online fix anything(JUST ANSWER) from your cats backside to your computer, this whole thing seems to be an elabORATE scam
and if it not a scam it is bordering on a knife edge. Anyone else tried this your opinions.

My opinion is that if you help someone for free, using your experience, doing some research, maybe trying out some options, then because it's free advice they often don't value it and don't take on board what you've said.

So I think it's good that you've paid for advice, and can now give others your opinion on how that worked for you.

Yes and see the amount of coin people are paying hundreds per month, maybe I,m ultra cautious as years ago I was at the point of giving my credit card out and rung my pc guru on the other line and hit the no button.

Maybe not a scam but looks kind of legit but anyway have cancelled and will seek local advice, NOT online maybe just on here.

I have no idea what you're talking about. But I do enjoy the irony of you asking online (@trademe) for advice about asking for online advice.

There is a good chance that it is a scam. You might be better off asking on online forums for free.

If you are not aware, "Geeks on Wheels" offer free support - https://www.geeksonwheels.co.nz/services/free-online-compute
r-help/
- they've been going a number of years and there are very differing experiences but you have nothing to lose. Obviously their aim will be to turn you into a paying customer but that's to be expected. But if the issue you're having is with a brand-name product, those companies also often have free support for setup or basic issues, ie Brother, HP (consumer products) and others might be prepared to assist with some basic troubleshooting

It is a scam but not elaborate, only catches the truly stupid. Watch for ransomware.

How is it possible to get your cats' backside fixed online with a knife edge?
