I'm sure both hubby and I have Logitech mice. He likes the small m187.

We have had a good run with the Microsoft ones.

We have 3 logitech m171's here, all going well. Got the other 2 because I was impressed with the first one. They are all different colors, I think there are only 3 colors. Battery guaranteed to lasts a year although ours are all under a year old but are still going strong, no lag etc. They have an on off switch if yr not going to use it for a while, and a place to store the dongle under the battery cover.

They must be the new type because when you lift them away from the mouse pad or desktop there is no laser light shining out. They are fairly small but I have fairly big hands and they are comfortable when I use them. They are approx 100mm long by 60mm wide by 35mm high and they are ambidextrous unlike some of the curved shape to fit your hands one that are only are designed for one hand. $25 - $35 each depending on where you buy them. I did get the first one for $17 on special on the net and the other 2 for around $25 from the warehouse.

That's the one I use, it's been excellent, had it for a few years.

We are just using the microsoft ones. The range is quite good.

As a matter of interest only, I am using a Nextech Bluetooth mouse. Drove me nuts initially but I have settled it down now. Has its little connection foibles so don't recommend this type.

Replaced the MS one today (8 yr old) when it didn't recognise the new battery; $30.
