My 'print screen' won't work

| 1 | I've done all the things microsoft advice says, and can get a screenshot by pressing the Win, shift and S keys, which opens the snipping bar, but for the life of me can't get the Print Screen key to work. | 3 | If you mean you're opening the snipping tool, (you said 'snipping bar'), then you need to then use the mouse to clik on the menu item 'New' and then drag the mouse over the area you want to do a screen shot of . When you have that covered you then release the mouse and it'll give you a box which has the picture in it and gives you options to save/print etc.. ETA: no i get what you're doing and yes after you have the 'snip' you then have to PASTE it into a program such as Windows Paint for instance to then be able to save/print it etc. So just do as you're doing now then open paint/word etc as king1 says, and clik PASTE and you'll see the snip magically appear. | 9 | To do a 'Print Screen' I have to use SHIFT,Print Screen. This copies the whole screen are to the clipboard. I then usually use PhotoShop to Edit/paste to see the image, the selection tool to define the ares required, then copy back to the clipboard.
