| 2 | would very much depend on how it was done, probably best to check with whoever did this. Some graphics programs work by stacking layers to create the image, IF done this it MAY be possible to undo or extract it. | 9 | Do you know what program was used to alter the photo? What file type is it? If you can open it in the program used to add the text box you would have more chance of reverting to the original. If you got it from email then search for the original email and you'll have the unedited copy attached. If you got it from USB stick then look for the unedited copy. If the photo already had the text box, then ask the sender if they have an unedited copy, or where did they get it from.
