Copying programs from - MySky - to External Drive.

Hi hackers..

I'm assuming the recordings are encrypted right.

How have you had success with intercepting / copying the programs?

Then maybe copying them on to a DVD or more ideally straight to a computer / drive..
I'm just brain storming here, hoping you have experience :)

Cheers guys.

umm there are much easier ways to obtain content, depending on exactly what it is you are trying to obtain...

Can you send the video/audio feed to your computer and use "Kazam" or similar software?

You will probably need a video capture card for your computer.

Thanks @tygertung..
Yeah, I think that might be the way, intercept the feed with some cabling..
One to the TV, another to the PC (somehow).. Then screen capture away.

I think you need an HDMI Splitter which can bypass HDCP, which you can plug into a capture box.

Asking how to illegally copy content on a public forum is a great idea. As a freelancer that works in the television industry, it's great to know the $15 a month Netflix bill is worth more than my job.

These are great ideas!
Thank you Tygertung & Mr-Word!

Oh videomonkey, if I wanted Netflix I wouldn't pay the $15 anyway, I'd use a VPN and subscribe for cheaper :p

Thanks for the mention. Have a look at the products from HDFURY.com
they may be suitable for your needs. They are expensive, but better than some electronics from China which may or may not work. As for Netflix it is hard to find anything to watch on it. VHS's and Tivos and PVR boxes haven't put anyone out of a job in television, the film industry is the most at risk but alas films still get made and cricket matches still get played.
