1 | Looks like there a quite a few of these mortgage comparison sites - not sure about quality? Is there one which is most widely utilised/trusted? e.g. www.goodreturns.co.nz Any advice on choosing a lender? And/or on structuring a first mortgage? 2 | Interest.co.nz compare rates. Use a broker conflict of interest dealing directly with the bank. houseofdad - 2021-05-25 08:38:00 |
3 | Hiya, broker here. These comparison sites only use 'carded' rates and not 'specials' that are often used to entice business, plus most banks will offer some cash towards costs. Structure is really important and tailored to your individual drivers and circumstances. A bank can only advise on their own products whilst a broker covers pretty much the whole market and are paid by the bank so no cost to you. Good luck with your first home, exciting times! jeffqv - 2021-05-25 10:56:00 |

Sure! Resimac, Pepper, Bluestone, Avanti, Basecorp, Liberty, Funding Partners and Sovereign for long term lending. For short term, some of the above plus some private lenders, FMT, DBR, Cressida, Southern Cross and the like. Quite a choice! jeffqv - 2021-05-27 17:28:00 |
