My PC is ageing so now have a new laptop, both are running Windows 10 & Microsoft 365. Started setting up laptop as mirror of PC. All went fine until I could not complete setup of Outlook email. I am thinking that I cannot have two devices set & running up identically. My plan is to complete changeover then ditch my PC. Would disconnecting PC from ethernet solve problem? would appreciate advice.

It might do, but it shouldn't affect outlook having two machines connected at once.

Just check to see that you have outlook configured correctly on your new machine.

You can have 50 or 500 devices running with the exact same setup.

Maybe we could help if you posted the exact error message you're getting.

If you are using Microsoft Outlook email PROGRAM export the PST file onto a data key then import onto the new machine.
