Got a tv/dvd in our motorhome ex UK. Some dvds play ok but some come up “wrong zone”. Can this be fixed and how easy etc to do. Thanks

If the DVD player came from the UK with the motorhome then replacing it with a locally bought player will give a good result.

You could try googling the model and see if it can be set to zone free. Some allow you to do that.

UK/ Europe is Zone 2
NZ/ Aust. is Zone 4
US is Zone 1
As above google the model and see if there is a hack to make it either multi zone or zone free (Zone 0) (some software hacks are easier than others)

For every ones info follow these instructions
1. Put tv into dvd mode without inserting disc
2. Press dvd setup button and enter code 9210
3. Select zone 0 which is zone free
This solved my problem of disc not playing because of wrong zone

Quite. The instructions for one make may be entirely different to those for another.
