| Will LongMarch5B land on Albany? Experts predict it could around 4PM this afternoon so ensure you've taken the washing in. sparkychap - 2021-05-09 07:50:00 |
| Looks like it's going to 'over-shoot' NZ. It's already above Fiji, and it's path looks to be well above us. lyl_guy - 2021-05-09 09:11:00 |
| Each orbit takes a different path, with the tracks currently moving further south-west. Based on the orbit that is estimated to be it's last, it would actually travel over Palmerston North, not Auckland, so no panic. Current projection is to land in the middle of the Indian Ocean not Palmerston North - but the actual time of reentry is +/- several hours... 4 | I've been tracking on this one which is 3D and interactive https://mapshot.app/pkg/longmarch.html Although if you really want to see how much junk is flying over our heads check out this site from the same developer: sparkychap - 2021-05-09 09:21:00 |

| Just over NZ airspace again, luckily still 145km up (but has degraded by about 40km in the past 5 hours) https://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/1537829984.jpg sparkychap - 2021-05-09 11:47:00 |
| Just passed over Nelson and south of Wellington. Due to reenter during the next orbit although still same altitude as last pass over NZ (although that could be to do with the elliptical orbit). https://trademe.tmcdn.co.nz/photoserver/full/1537873441.jpg sparkychap - 2021-05-09 13:20:00 |
