I use Thunderbird for my Spark (@xtra) emails and while cleaning up my download folder I deleted a file because I couldn't open it, assumed I didn't need it, and there it was - GONE!. I need access to some of my historical emails, plus future incoming ones too. | 8 | However system restore does not reinstate deleted files. Have you checked the recycle bin for the missing file? You can put it back if it's in there by just right clicking it and then left click on restore. Otherwise assuming it's not a data file but one that makes thunderbird work, you could simply try reinstalling thunderbird. That might repair it.
