Help with printing label's please

#Post

How do I go about filling a whole sheet of self adhesive label with many of the same type of label? That might sound dumb....O.K. I'm trying to design a simple self adhesive label possibly about 2/3 size of a business card. Then 'fill' the whole screen with the same design to be able to then print. I'm running the latest LibreOffice. I've seen this done many times, but for the hell of me can't figure out how to do it now. Thanks in advance.

It's called tiling. There are also label making programs. In have one on my computer but can't recall the name. Not near it right now.

Like Nice_lady, I use label software, in my case Nicelabel, but you can do labels in Openoffice or Libreoffice too, File, New label.

I have used MS Word to do make labels

I usually use Tables in MS Word and hide the borders, also, if you 're using one of the label sheets, read the included instructions, they will most likely recommend a certain labelling template to be used in MS word (i.e Avery Lxxxx) as seen here:

Failing any of the above, you could also do them in Excel. The usual problem when not using labelling software, is getting them lined up to suit the paper/label size.

Hey guys thanks for all your suggestions, Nice_Lady, I did download that program....does the program come with an instruction book? Have tried a few times, but not getting very far, might get someone..... apart from me who is a bit more computer literate to guide me. Trouble with me, is if I don't 'get it' quick, I soon loose interest.

No it doesn't. It took me a while to manage to create some labels

Perhaps try Libre Office as mentioned above. It's free and chest good. Use the 'Writer' part of the program.
