| When I go to load the photos on my notebook it says Communicaton Error on the camera. I tried taking out the battery in the hope it would reset. Does anyone know how to sort thanks? mme - 2021-04-21 12:19:00 |

| Yeah take the camera memory card out and plug it into the slot on your computer. Make sure it's the right size first. The slots can vary as can the card size. You could also try a different cable from the cam to computer. These like anything can fail. Edited by nice_lady at 12:44 pm, Wed 21 Apr nice_lady - 2021-04-21 12:43:00 |
| Thanks ppl! The plug it into the slot on my computer worked. I don't think it's the cable as I tried a different one as I have a few. Do you think it might be the where the cable plugs into my notebook? Also I have to select the the photos to load now. It loads all the photos on the card. Whereas before it would recognise the pics it already has & just load the new ones! mme - 2021-04-21 13:12:00 |

Depending on what program you are using for the transfer it may have an option to remove duplicates perfectimages - 2021-04-21 13:20:00 |
| Dunno what kind of camera you have, but this Canon help page says the 'Communication Error' occurs if you have more than 1000 photo's on the card (rolls eyes) https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=A Use the camera to format the card, now that you have backed it up to your computer, and then see if the communication error has gone. gyrogearloose - 2021-04-21 15:46:00 |
