Commencing in May looks like Mike Pero!!!!

Today the boss on The Apprentice.. tomorrow the President of USA !!

From a PR point of view I would see being the boss on The Apprentice as something to avoid.. Does Mike Pero's brand really need / want for him to come over as a complete w**nker / agragant s**t.. The "success" of the show is based on the boss having these attributes !!
The Mike Pero brand is based on him being a nice guy and around decent sort of chap..

A lot of people don't know that the mortgage business was sold to a lender in 2007 so Mike has had nothing to do with it for many many years.

But he still fronts / appears in the Real Estate ads..
Real Estate agents do not enjoy the best of reputations, at the best of times I'm not sure that I would want the added burden of also being the Apprentice Boss too !!

Interestingly he copped a lot of flack on LinkedIn for this because of the abrasive nature of the franchise (both Trump and Sugar being rude and abusive to contestants) and that they should create something that was much more "kiwi" (collaborative and supporting).

But then that would probably make crap TV.

Remember the program will be ranked as an "entertainment" show.. not a documentary or a how to do it / educational.
The intent of the sow is to entertain as we cringe at what The Boss says and does and the infighting of the contestants, the toys being thrown out of cots, and be very "un New Zealander like" and talking yourself up and putting others down.
Most importantly most of the contestants will be "attractive people" all gym bunny and designer stubble.. plain / dumpy girls need not apply !!
