I cant scroll across on my ipad anymore suddenly

Any idea how I can fix that? Any help appreciated :)

It wont even let me scroll the slide to turn power off bit....

Yes it does maar it gives me a bar which tells me 'slide to turn power off' but it wont slide lol

When you rotate the iPad 90 degrees does the screen rotate, then the slide to turn the power off would be in the other plane.

dunno if this will help but I found it on some random webpage:

"Have you tried resetting it by holding down the button on the bottom front of the screen at the same time hold down the off button on the top rt corner of your ipad2. hold them down together until the screen goes black and after a few seconds you will see the "apple logo" pop up on the screen, then let the buttons go."

I dont have an ipad to test it on

Try holding down the external power button for maybe 10 seconds. They usually turn off if you hold them long enough.

You awesomely wonderfully helpfully people, your suggestions helped me fix my Ipad. I take you all with me as we be soon (Few months) moving to the beautiful South Island. So glad I don't have to leave any of you behind :)

This works - I only do it if my ipad needs a 'hard' reset. Have done it a handful of times and have had the ipad for over 5 years, and it's still going really well.
