Samsung smart tv

Good morning, I’m having a problem with my Samsung smart tv connecting to the wifi . I’ve had the tv for about a year and never had any issues. All my other devices are working fine and I have tried resetting the tv aswell. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers

We've had problems with single devices not connecting and a restart of the router has worked.

Run a cable, wifi is for cell phones and tablets.

Eh ? Depends a lot on the router type/quality/specs and distance from TV.

So suggesting that 'suddenly' after a year of perfect working on wifi that wifi is 'no good' seems ridiculous.

OP please detail 'trouble connecting' - just what steps are you going through to connect and what error messages etc if any are you getting ?

Also yeah 'spyware's suggestion of a cable does have merit. It'll be foolproof. IF it's practical for you to run one in your situation.

Our toshiba smart is about 2 metre's from the router and has never dropped wifi. Has OP tried shutting down and restarting the router? We had trouble not long ago with one device that wouldn't connect, all other devices were fine. A shutdown and restart of the router fixed the problem.
