Cant complete updates

| 13 | Some will suggest you start afresh with a clean install of win 10. But that will wipe ALL of your existing system files data, photos, documents etc etc, and program settings, stored passwords, etc etc.. What I meant was once you do the upgrade (you are doing the upgrade and not a clean install so that 10 will be activated with the 8.1 product key) and you get to keep all your files etc. You can then do a clean install of 10 anytime after that because the product key will be logged and connected to your PC as having 10 on it. You may as well use the upgrade for a few years before doing a clean install. If it were me I would clean install it straight after the upgrade but you do not have to do that.
