Cannot send photo to overseas

| 1 | Can attach and send text with photo attached via iPhone 7 to NZ mobile number. But cannot sent to relatives overseas - two of them in Ireland. Text message gets through but photo will not deliver. Does anyone know what's going wrong in the "electronic void"?? Message settings are the same for each recipient I try. | 3 | You are trying to use MMS system, (multimedia messaging service), which is what's used when sending messages with attachements, in particular images. This has issues even in Nz as the recipient may not wish to enable it due to it means they'll be downloading it on their phone data allowance. Trying this internationally isn't going to always work either due to it having to pass thru multiple servers and they may not allow it as bandwidth costs money and someone will have to pay - (You or the recipient).
