Sticky space bar

#Post

I have just purchased a new keyboard and suddenly after one day the space bar is sticking. Any help appreciated.

Take it back?
Or look under the keys for that piece of toast and vegemite you lost?

Sensible as usual Nice Lady I am a bit wary lifting the bar up! It's a damn nuisance as both my husband and I are disabled (age) and it is just a big hassle getting into shops. Have to try and get someone to take it back as a last resort.

Lifted it slightly with a very small nail, gave it a blow appeared to work and then stuck again.

Sounds faulty, you may have to take it back unfortunately.

Nope the guy in the shop is having that for afternoon tea then he'll pop the keyboard back in the box on the shelf & sell it again.

sandwich / toast crumbs and staples will stop a keyboard in its tracks... turn it upside down and bang it on the desk top... then with a little dustpan and broom clean up the mess..!!!
