1 | There is a new ad on TV night where Coloursteel featured JK's bach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU0AM1kgDLo Start from 0:12 to 0:16, is this the right way to fit the window? Here is the picture of it Would that not be a campsite for the spiders? ang_ck - 2021-03-11 21:54:00 |
2 | Can't see any issue I am intending to do the same on a shed and cabins & that setup is water tight long as the window are high and against the top framing and under a soffit but personally would of liked a wider soffit. Spiders will always be an issue. gamefisher - 2021-03-11 22:04:00 |
3 | @gamefisher, good observation. I did not realized that the window is high up against the top frame. ang_ck - 2021-03-11 22:14:00 |
4 | Looks fine to me. It's still got a head flashing above the window sooperdoopa - 2021-03-11 23:09:00 |
5 | I was expecting the exterior trim to be something like this, ang_ck - 2021-03-11 23:50:00 |

It'll be down to personal preference I guess. As long as it meets regs and is weathertight then either option is feasible. Edited by sooperdoopa at 12:17 pm, Fri 12 Mar sooperdoopa - 2021-03-12 12:17:00 |

i wonder how they have done the rain screen, especially with the nail/screw pattern like that. quite possible they haven't as its "vertical pattern" siding, which i think is poor with that style of siding. tweake - 2021-03-12 19:39:00 |
