6 | intrade Simpower are a pretty reputable company dealing only in batteries. It's unlikely they will be sourcing crap quality batteries. If you can't buy genuine then they should be a good second option. skull - 2021-03-11 07:48:00 |

9 | Lithium ion batteries degrade year after year, I'm going to say 17% without any supporting link, regardless of whether it's in a phone or on the shelf in a shop. So if you buy a 'new, old stock' battery then it's already degraded. Either buy a new battery where it has a date stamp proving it's recently manufactured, and you're sure it's genuine, or you'll see what you're observing - the battery life is degraded even though you just bought it. gyrogearloose - 2021-03-11 18:55:00 |

11 | recent made battery for a 7 year old phone i doubt anyone will have one. they will want to sell what ever they have in stock as you cant just unmanufacture old stock. i orderd one from simpower, som cheap ones are on trademe on sale some sell 2 for 1 its not like you can just change the battery in 2 minutes ... i still have dead new batterys from nokia 3210 i used to sell for 20 bux, nimh they go dead over time Edited by intrade at 2:39 pm, Sat 13 Mar intrade - 2021-03-13 14:35:00 |

20 | Back in those days it was preferable to get good battery life out of phones. People didn't want to have to plug them in every day. tygertung - 2021-03-15 14:22:00 |
