"Eating the Neighbours Fruit" - is that some euphemism for suburban swinging?

If I give my neighbour fruit he gives me back jam and marmalade. I haven't got any peaches though, and neither of us have trees that grow in the fence. My son's neighbour came and took lemons off the tree at the farm, in the section. It was however not the farms tree. Another neighbour planted it there because citrus grew well there so that must be ok... okay??

And don't covet thy neighbour's ass either.

Old news, thought everyone knew that.
A point: I am growing a passionfruit and it started to hang over neighbours so I asked her, did she mind, if so, I can cut it back.
She said she was fine with it....so I said she could take what hangs over.

That means I need to pick all the apples that are hanging over my drive way and post them to Kainga Ora as they are the owner of the apple tree.

I hope the apples survive in the post.

*The current tenants are refugees who don’t understand any English so there is a real barrier** They don’t pick the fruit. It is dropping all over the ground.

They must speak or understand some English, as they are given English lessons, while at the Mangare Refugee Centre, then on going free English Lessons in the area they live in...

Sometimes easier to feign ignorance so they don't have to deal with the natives.

They might know very basic English but not enough to ask them if they want their fruit that is falling all over my driveway. I have called HNZ to ask for the branches to be pruned as they are quite tall and every year the tree is getting bigger and more fruit is falling over our size. It was added to a job queue last July and in January we had to chop one branch off ourselves as it fell over the boundary fence and landed on our driveway but was still attached to the main trunk of the tree. So I called HNZ again and 2 month later are still waiting. I really hope that the next one that falls doesn’t hit any of our windows.
