Anyone know where I can buy a new or used light switch for an old Bernina 708? I bought it on here quite few years ago and when it arrived the machine was upside down in the case with a broken light switch. I'm thinking maybe eBay. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Can't help re light switch. But if you want a light the are magnetic LED lamps or light strips that attach to your sewing machine.
Have you asked a Bernina tech if they have the spare part. I have bought from Sharp sewing on Ebay. They don't answer or take an extremely long time to respond to emails. Fine if the bit you want is listed

Thanks mica3. I've searched on eBay and continue to do so with no luck so far. Sharp Sewing didn't have anything but I have a saved search for the part on eBay. If I can't source the Bernina part it's good to know about the magnetic lamps or light strips -thanks for that suggestion.
