Wet & Forget Shower Witch?

| 1 | Has anybody found that using Shower Witch for a few years has made plastic parts in their shower brittle? One of our showers has had Shower Witch used and the other hasn't. In the shower where we used it the plastic parts like the soap tray and foot rest etc seem to become brittle and snap easily. The other shower was still fine.
