Sari Silk Yarn Where to find Pattern?

#Post
1

Just wondering where I would find a pattern for a jumper that uses this yarn. Has anyone used it? I am not sure what it would knit up as - like 8 ply? I can find plenty of patterns for scarves, hats etc but not jumpers or cardigans.
many thanks

Just find a pattern using the same ply yarn and needle. Super bulky would be this I think. Patterns seem to use a 10- 10.5 needle.

I came across some patterns when I was looking for sock patterns. Look at Nori yarn website, and just ask Mrs G.
Sprucecrafts, Ravelry, pinterest - ask a poster.

Horrible stuff, leaves threads all over everything. But nice as an addition to silk paper felting.

And most of it is not silk, but man made fibre...

Tempting though, such great colours!

I've used it before - knit it into feature rows in scarves and hats. Fantastic colours - and I like the wispy bits, as long as the main yard is plain in my opinion. Personally I have unpicked it a couple of times as I have found it works better with knit or purl stitches. When I go to the effort of following a pattern, I couldn't see the detail because of the colour and thickness changes in the silk yarn.
