Is this as good as they claim; 'super speedy' and 'reliable"?

I'm on Skinny 4G and it is super speedy and reliable.

Compare the pricing, I've had terrible customer service from Vodaphone.

Skinny 4G Fixed broadband is great, speeds are pretty good though all depends on where you live. Skinny runs over the Spark network so good coverage. Skinny have an address checker on their site so you can check your coverage. To give you an idea, we get about 50Mb down and 20 up in Lower Hutt.

Thanks for responses. Cost offered is better than Skinny.

vodafone are the absolute worst company to deal with for getting problems resolved. i wouldn't touch them even if they were half the cost, just not worth it imho

if you are already with vodafone and they are trying to bully you into this (kinda what they do), then it depends on what sort of connection you already have as to whether it will be better - compared to ADSL it is probably better, anything else probably not...

They usually do this tactic with folks who have and still want a landline, or low users, basically it costs them less to provision it on there own network than having to wholesale something off chorus

We are with Slingshot with Fibre and Land line with all the extras Call waiting/call minder/ caller display. No problems, their help desk are very good and go out of their way to help...a couple of months ago they had to put prices up by$1 per month and offered no penalty if i wished to change ISP.s and when first major lockdown increased limit from 150gb per month to unlimited no extra charge ..

Skinny was only $39 a month in Central Hamilton for 60GB, how much data do you use?

Or $49 for 120 GB or $65 for unlimited.

If you are getting up to $65 you might as well get fibre at $59

Yes.
And their mesh thing is available yourself anyway. You just get 2 mesh capable routers and setup.
Don't need to be with them.
