iPad light

#Post
1

I picked up my iPad and oops, there is hardly any light. It’s like reading in the dark, in fact turning off the light in my room improves the screen visibility
Any suggestions what’s happened and how I can put it right.
I guess it’s going to cost me megabucks to get it repaired, if that’s even possible

All devices have a functionality that enables you to turn the screen brightness up or down or set it to do it by itself automatically. Just google how to do it.
I doubt it's broken.

Start a NEW thread - your own. It's NOT smart to jump onto someone elses thread with a totally unrelated query it just ends in confusion for all.

Glynsmum, you're doing well at 87. I'm not far behind you at almost 82.
You'd be welcome to join my thread if would help, but I doubt it will. Good luck with your question, while I must go to google to see if I can find the answer to mine

Adjust brightness in Settings
Go to Settings > Display & Brightness.
Drag the slider to the right or left to adjust the brightness

And turn 'Auto brightness' OFF
