For some reason I am unable to create a new folder or even rename a current folder - it’s been a while but I’ve never had any problems before
What do I need to do?

Are you using the drive website, or using the filestream app and are unable to create subfolders under G: ?

Either way right click the top folder and I get a menu where one option is to create a new folder.

Maybe you have read only permission on the folder you are accessing, or it belongs to another user and is shared with you, but not editing permission ?
