leave the Trustpower 2 year with free tv contract

#Post
1

I understand the contract and see I will need to pay $700 for the tv but this all seems to be worth the leaving for a new job leaving the WINZ Accommodation supplement I think it is, and I will also check with WINZ what their side of the deal is, maybe they can offer assistance with advice also. Just looking at this job now and is easily within my capabilities.
I was offered the job today and looking for feedback seeing the WINZ service and Trustpower are not available to talk with until Monday.

I agree too, I wondered if there is any clever ways to deal with the $700 part. I remember now having been offered time repayments in situations like this. Not sure who that was with and that happened through talking with people.

You'll need power at the new place, do Trustpower provide service in your new area?

I had not thought of that. That is a great idea thank you.
The accommodation may have power supplied already but will keep this in mind.

Trustpower is not even cheap. That's why they bribe you with TVs.....do your research, use Powerswitch and check who actually is cheapest.

Just bear in mind that no where along the line are Trust Power GIVING you a TV, they are selling you a TV, utlimately for the retail price, that they have purchased at a bulk / wholesale rate... I bet in all ads / communications with respect to the tv, the tv is referred to by it BRAND and size... so every public mention is a little bit of advertising for the tv company !! If they say the tv is "worth" say $700, I would be surprised if Trust Power pay any more than about $250 to $300 for it..

So far I need to be content paying the $700 (on time payment btw) or taking the connection with me for no further charge.
