Anyone got a good template for flatmate agreements in a family tenancy situation?
NOT the tenancy services one. Something that will keep the insurance company happier!

Has the insurance company got specific issues?

You need to be clearer?
Family + flatmate + flatting template = impossible.

You can't take family (flatting or renting) to TT.
Will have trouble even at disputes.

See @2 has the insurance company got problems with the TT one?

I have always used the TT one, amended if needed. If the insurance companies have problems with this then it would be useful for me to know.

Rather than Insurance company it would pay to make sure you are also keeping the IRD happy by not renting out at a non market rental. Or get them involved.

You just need to confirm that you have vetted the flatmate and that is all.
Your contents insurance wouldn't be covered anyway if your flatmate stole your property.
