Bluetooth interference

#Post

Is their anything you can do to effectively block a Bluetooth signal to a speaker? New neighbour thinks that playing loud music outside till the small hours every night is ok... have tried talking to him and asking him to turn it down a bit and got told to get farked... so is there a way of remotely messing up his Bluetooth connection? Hopefully one of you clever people can help me get some sleep!

there is probably a law against doing that, you can probably buy jammers on some dodgy website but pretty sure its illegal to buy/sell/manufacture them in most respectable countries.

file a noise complaint with the council...

The level of intoxication involved means I doubt they’d figure out why it wasn’t working.

I bet the cops who tried to slip facial recognition under the radar before the proper channels had a chance to catch up would be down on it like a ton of bricks, so it might pay to see what kind of court mess you will be dealing with first, just to be prudent about it...

I might otherwise suggest you try to connect to his speaker and get it to play some opera?

Go through the proper channels. Ring noise control and explain to them it is starting to affect you now and something must be done about it otherwise you might take it into your own hands and we don't want that aye.

Keep onto noise control about it for as long as it takes they will get the message that you are not going away until they deal with it.

The problem you'll have with a bluetooth jammer is it will jam other things as well and that's where it probably becomes illegal. There is no 'control' over it.

Dammit! You make a valid point.... would it be wrong to use my water blaster over the fence to break up the constant parties?
