So long as people are working their butts off just to meet their rental/mortage along with some minor spending on locally sourced goods and/or services she will manage to 'balance the books'. When people start 'spending' on international travel and imported goods in a big way things will start to go pear shaped.

Plenty of real money being thrown around, people spending what they would have spent on a foreign holiday.

I really don't think that's happening. More like house prices went up so they borrowed more against it.

Will we be getting more overseas $ from people overseas visiting NZ, than we will loose thru Kiwis going on a overseas holiday.
Post Covid, I wouldn't like the idea of going overseas, then comming home to a fortnight or more of quarantine ( & possibly catching Covid while overseas )

While I think foreigners would see NZ as a attractive destination even if they spend the first 2 + weeks in enforced holiday quarantine.

Meh, I think lockdowns will be over sooner than everyone thinks. Possibly March/April given the effectiveness of Ivermectin + the end of stimulus

The NZ and many other governments dont believe in vaccine alternatives so we are not going to see Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquin in NZ unless there is a big vaccine failure. With 150 covid vaccines under development there will no doubt be one winning vaccine out of that number.

How well do flu vaccines work?
Not very well it seems. Keep needing another one every year.
Oh dear. Sounds like a great money spinner for the global corporations.

I read with one of these early covid vaccines 4 shots a year are going to be needed as they wear off after 6 months.
