#Post

and goodbye 2020. Hello to 2021, let's all hope we can put 2020 behind us and move on. Team NZ for the America's Cup too of course! (I'm a skipper on one of the marshal boats, grandstand view!)

It's not the tills, it's the restocking at night.

So that's manning the drive thru during the day, stocking shelves at night. Kids today don't know their born.

Another glass of Château de Chasselas, eh, Josiah?

Yes, Happy Christmas everyone.

As there are only 6 days of 202 left I expect we all have no choice

I have the feeling 2020 was just a lead-in.

Just for some light reading over the break thankfully my reserve for 'Rottenomics : the story of NZ's leaky Buildings disaster' by Peter Dyer came up for me yesterday at the local library. I was no 66 on the list!

Having lived and worked through those unbelievable days it is a reminder that you fiddle with building standards (at a macro & micro level) at your peril. Having been at the regulatory end where govt regulatory agencies were to be privatised and saying to myself 'this is seriously weird stuff' it is a good read so far.

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year!
